DIGITALKER

Channel Reader for the Blind

The Concept

There is nothing new about channel readers, there have been many variations on the theme but they all have one thing in common.

They have a very robotic sound to them and often they are very hard to understand, which kind of defeats the purpose of a channel reader.

So what's different ?

The Digitalker is based around a tiny microprocessor and an MP3 module that stores the pre-recorded sounds in an SD Card, this gives the end user the complete freedom to change the voice set or create their very own unique set.

Primarily designed with the blind operator in mind. this has also been found to be useful with mobile users to avoid taking their eyes of the road whist changing channels.

Fitting

Unfortunately due to the complex nature of this module it is only available fitted by Q5 engineers, However any radio that has the module fitted will be returned to the owner after receiving a full service whilst we have the radio at no extra cost to the owner.

This is to ensure that the radio is in tip top condition and ready to go straight into service.

Any parts required will be quoted before any work commences.
